Anglesey South West: Porth Trecastell to LLanddwyn (Full Day)!
This trip will focus on the gwna melange of the south-west coast and the spectacular geology of Llanddwyn Island itself. Participants will learn about plate tectonics and the geological processes that formed the various rocks on the route.
In addition they will learn about Santes Dwynwen, the seafarers of Anglesey, and the forestation of the dunes.
Difficulty: Moderate – some kayaking experience and reasonable fitness required.
Minimum Age: 16
