making a booking

A provisional booking can be made on-line or over the telephone. A booking is confirmed once a booking form and the appropriate deposit have been received. A deposit of 50% of course fees is due to confirm a place on a course. The balance is required before the activity commences. Payment can be made by bacs payment in advance or by card or cash payment on the day.

changes by you

If, after a booking has been confirmed, you reduce your numbers the deposit will be forfeited for any cancelled members. You must notify us in advance of an increase in numbers, we will endeavour to accommodate an increase wherever possible.

cancellation by you

In the event of cancellation by you we do not issue refunds of deposits paid. We advise you to take out insurance against cancellation.

changes or cancellation by us

We reserve the right to make changes at any time to the session and services we provide if they become necessary due to circumstances beyond our control.

In the event of cancellation by us we will offer an alternative course or date and if unacceptable to the client we will refund full payment.


Most sessions take place regardless of the weather, although we reserve the right to alter the content or venue of the activity should this be necessary. If your course is affected by adverse conditions, we will try and provide suitable alternatives. In extreme cases that bring about cancellation, we will offer either a full refund or the option of running the course at a different time.

insurance & liability

B-Active@Rhoscolyn has a comprehensive public liability policy with an indemnity/ benefit limit of £5 million. We are happy to provide a copy of our certificate should you need one. Bookings DO NOT include personal travel or accident insurance. Please ask your insurer for details of the necessary cover for taking part in outdoor activities.

client safety

Participants will at all times during the course, in the interest of safety promptly comply with all reasonable instructions or advice given to them by us. If they fail to comply with such instructions or advice, we reserve the right to exclude them from the session and do not accept any responsibility for any liability, loss expenses or damages arising because of their failure to comply.

supervision of children

B-Active@Rhoscolyn is responsible for activity instruction only. Party leaders who accompany a group of children will be responsible for the discipline and adequate supervision of all group members outside of activity instruction time.


We consider your booking details to be confidential and will not pass on your details to a third party under any circumstances unless required to do so under law.
