Had a great time, learnt new skills and had so much fun even though I capsized twice!!!! Highly recommended to beginners like myself, hope I get the opportunity to go again soon.

Environmental education is often lauded by educators as an ideal way to integrate academic disciplines, stimulate the academic and social growth of young people, and promote conservation of the natural environment.

Hi can you tell me if you have any further taster days planned before the end of August?

We have two more sessions next week, although they are fully booked.
The beach day tomorrow in Rhoscolyn will provide another alternative for people to try kayaking, coasteering and paddle-boarding if you’d like to join us.

Had a great sea kayaking taster session yesterday! Andy was a brilliant instructor, and guide to the area. Also fascinating knowledge of Rhoscolyn which made the session even more enjoyable. It gained us confidence and also has given us confirmation that purchasing our own kayaks is the right thing to do.

      Hi
Sorry to have missed this. We are not currently planning any free taster sessions this summer, but will update the website if we do receive more funding from the County Council to do so.

I love how BActive is partnering with Outdoor Alternative, North Wales Wildlife Trust, and Nature-Bites to offer activity breaks with an environmental focus. It’s so important for primary school children to learn outside the classroom and develop a sense of place. Keep up the great work in integrating environmental education with outdoor activities!
