Wildlife kayaks

Wildlife kayak trips with B-Active. Anglesey has a great diversity of marine and bird life and on our ‘wildlife’ kayak trips you get the chance to get up close and personal. You will see sea birds and seals in a new light as you share their environment.

Join us on our Holy Island – Ynys Cybi – trip where Peregrine Falcons patrol the skies, seals sunbathe on off-shore islands and Lions Mane jellyfish lurk in the sea caves.

For more experienced kayakers we have a trip out to Puffin Island  – Ynys Seiriol – on the South-East corner of Anglesey where Puffin nest in spring and early summer alongside a profusion of other sea birds including: Kittiwake, Cormorant, Shag, Razorbills and Guillemot.

The sessions last for three hours and are run by fully qualified and experienced local kayaking instructors.

These half-day trips are suitable for paddlers with some kayaking experience (not complete beginners) and over 14 years of age.

“Had a great time, learnt new skills and had so much fun even though I capsized twice!!!!”

“Andy took us Sea kayaking today. It was totally brilliant! He was calm, professional, friendly and safe. He was fantastic with the kids (teen and tween) and they both had a blast. He was knowledgeable about the history of the area as well as the wildlife. It was a really great afternoon, we would highly recommend and would definitely do it again when we’re in the area.”

“We did the half day sea kayaking course and went out with Andy. What an absolute fantastic day we had! Andy was a fantastic guide, patient and knowledgeable, we got to see lots of wildlife and will definitely be back for another trip!”
