COVID-19: INFORMATION

Covid image

The current COVID 19 pandemic means that our activities are currently on hold until such time as it’s safe for us to re-open. Our thoughts are with all the people who have been affected personally by the virus, and our thanks go to our emergency services and key workers for all the incredible work they do every day on our behalf – thank you!

Here in Wales, decisions about easing the lock down will be taken by the Welsh Government. Their current guidance can be found  by clicking here: Welsh Government Guidance.

There’s is likely to be a staged lifting of lock down rules in Wales as levels of infection reduce. At present all holiday accommodation on Anglesey should be closed and it is not possible to visit the Island. Together with other members of the Anglesey Tourism Association, BActive is calling for members of the public to stay away from the Island until such time as we can safely welcome visitors back.

As restrictions are lifted we will keep our own activities under review and update information on our web site accordingly. We have written a COVID 19 Policy for our service and undertaken risk assessments for each of our activities. Once we are able to re-open we will be adapting our activities based on the potential risks we identify. This may mean changes to our normal group sizes, and the range and delivery of our activities as we adapt to new social distancing and hygiene related rules. We hope our customers will support us in this.

If you have booked with us, your deposit is secure! We have postponed all courses until such time as we are able to re-open. You will be able to re-book your course later this year, if that becomes possible, or new dates next year.

We are not currently accepting any new bookings before the planned school summer holidays starting 18th July, we will take provisional bookings for the summer holidays and beyond, but will not be asking for deposits at this stage.

If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Stay safe, and take care

Andy
