Our Team Building Tasks are stimulating problem-solving activities designed to help group members develop their capacity to work effectively together.
The tasks we use are generally of a short, problem-solving nature designed to challenge groups to discuss the problem, form a plan, and co-operate to achieve the goal. Tasks generally take place outside and utilise props such as ropes, blocks, blindfolds etc. they are not intended to provide a physical challenge and are achievable by all.
The exercises can be adapted for virtually any group, young or old, large or small, and across cultures. The tasks can be undertaken as a fun activity or with the use of a facilitator groups can be encouraged to reflect on the tasks and learn about their own behaviour and that of their team. Video can be used to enhance the learning experience.
Some tasks we commonly use include:
Talisman - organise your team to cross an area under the protection of the talisman, but beware the protection is limited!
Nuclear Meltdown – safely remove the nuclear material without succumbing to radiation sickness.
Shelobs Web – pass the web but don’t wake the dreaded Shelob.
Sheep Pen - shepherds get your wayward sheep into the pen using your own special code.
Volcano Escape – construct a bridge to cross the river of lava to safety, but the clock is ticking!
Contact us to discuss your group needs.
