Improvised raft-building is a fantastic activity for larger groups and team building events. Utilising great local venues in and around Rhoscolyn, teams compete to design, build and race their own raft.

Provided with the equipment they will need and instructed in some key skills and techniques for building a secure and stable raft the teams are encouraged to come up with their own designs and given time to construct their raft. Having got their build right, they will attempt to paddle their raft around a set course in a race with opposing teams.

An excellent activity for young people to develop their design and technology skills as well as communication and cooperation and a great fun activity for all.

Suits groups of 10-16, or as part of a multi-activity day.
