If you’ve always wanted to try kayaking but not known where to start, you’ve come to the right place. Using local venues such as the beautiful and sheltered Borthwen beach in Rhoscolyn you will find yourself in the perfect place to learn a new skill. Our experienced and fully qualified instructors will take you through the first steps of kayaking and introduce you to a new world for discovery.
On our courses you will spend a short time familiarising yourself with your kayak, before heading out on an exploration of the local coastline. The Anglesey coast is incredibly varied, with sheltered coves, rocky headlands and stunning beaches. From your kayak you will be able to catch site of the local wildlife up close and marvel at the stunning geology.
No experience necessary. Sessions are also available as half-day and short courses and as part of multi-activity courses. Participants can work towards BCU Star Awards.
A full day course is usually only suitable for children aged 14 and over.
